For how long will you stay lost in your first game before you come up for air and visit CFC? (the answer to that you have to give as a reply)

And what is most likely to bring you back? (those are the poll options).

I won't post during my first game, and probably not second or third either. I have time off, a mate and I will be thoroughly exploring.

When I do come back, I'll likely post something positive, even if I'm slightly disappointed, because this is just how I am. I'm more likely to comment about something that I enjoyed than mention the things I didn't, at least in the early stages.

I'm seriously considering purchasing the Founder's Edition, in which case I would consider it my duty to report here with any notable information.

I probably wouldnt post after a long time. I would try to get accustomed to the game first and then post.
Either that or I would gradually post a post or two a week more or less. :dunno:

I don't think I'd post before finishing my first game honestly... to give it a fair twirl... Then I'd probably look at my notes and mention something I wasn't expecting or hadn't thought of before playing that surprised me

I’ll probably come back to post here in the lead up to Civ 8. CFC isn’t the place to go for mods anymore and I’m not a student with unlimited time to goof off online like I was when I created this account. The post release period I’ll be playing the game and after that I’ll be waiting for the expansion or playing KCD2. Coming back here to moan isn’t on the menu,

The few speculation threads I’ve dipped into here have been uninteresting to me, clearly the worst crime for internet discourse. I wish everyone who will be returning the best.

Eh, I will post when I have something relevant to share. My attention will be on my first game mostly but I will make posts after I shut it down for the night and am getting ready to go to bed as is my custom.

There's a good chance I would post here before my first game ends. You know, if something interesting happens. Also, I like to play larger maps, and Civ games tend to go on for a while.

No idea what I'll be posting about. It will depend on how the game goes. I'd like to think it will be something interesting or delightful that I encounter.

I have time off at the time of Civ VII's release too, but I'll be spending it somewhere sunny and warm. So it will be at least a week or so after release when I'm posting about it.

I'll likely post some interesting tidbits first here and then maaaaaybe on Reddit. I bet there will be plenty of curious stuff in the events or some easter eggs like the snow globe mountain resorts I think I kinda discovered in VI. I intend to thank the devs (and the forum dwellers for time well spent reading here ;) ) a day before early access release. I'll probably complain about minute details.

I also consider doing a healthy amount of datamining after a few games, but I'm torn on sharing my findings. I wouldn't really wanna spoil things much because I don't think that all people would like that, but sharing more minor things would be allowed, right? I'm very likely to make a thread about things found in the SDK assets like with VI though.

I will post before I even start my first real game, after launching 3x 26 games (each leader / persona in each age) and updated all unlock and "historical choice" links on my webpage. I don't know how much time that will represent, probably at least the whole evening (the Steam usual "launch time" is 19h for me), as that's already 6h if it takes me 4 min each. Good thing I've taken the next day off :king:
Although hopefully I won't read anything before starting that first real game on the 7th.

Likely my case, or at least until some big expansion is announced and I happen to also be very excited about it. While I have been in the site for a long time, I only tend to pay attention and posted when I'm hyped for the next release.

If I like the game, I will likely expend time playing it than talking here. If I dislike it, I will likely play other games than waste my time complaining here.

I'm sure I'll be here to ask questions immediately. I won't be complaining. If I buy it, I usually don't complain too much. If I don't like the look I don't bother buying in the first place like Civ V

Early 2000s accounts gang is well represented in this thread for sure 😂

My first post after playing will be about how much fun New Zeland's abilities are in the modern age. Unless I come up with a better joke or actual question.

Here's hoping download and install will go without a glitch for ya... :goodjob:

Only if I notice something will I come and post. Otherwise, after a day or 2.

If I find an interesting answer to a question that's been bothering us for a while, I can imagine posting it immediately.

Also perhaps some really good visuals if I run across them. All else aside, it's a beautiful game.

I would imagine that some of those not getting early access will be interested in seeing early looks.
