how to break a trade embargo

Hi *,

I got stuck in an embargo agreement which lasted forever 'causing me loss of potential earnings from trading with the embargoed rival. So how to break an unwanted agreement of any kind? (except peace agreements, of course, I know how to break 'em)

Open up diplomacy screen with civ that you have the trade embargo with.

Click on active

Click on embargo

Remove it

if the trade embargo is against u, get the nation in the embargo to declare war against the one u are actually at war with
