Hello,
I'm new to modding Civ 6. I've messed around with the world builder in the past, but that's about it.
I want to make changes to a map from a mod. In specific, it's from this mod: TSL Western Europe
Firstly, is it possible? If so, how to do it?
The other questions I have are about editing certain aspects of it:

I want to make changes to a map from a mod. In specific, it's from this mod: TSL Western Europe
Firstly, is it possible? If so, how to do it?
The other questions I have are about editing certain aspects of it:
- I would like to extend the map a bit. Both at the north and south, to be able to flesh out Great Britain and give space for sailing south of Sicily.
- Would like to alter some aspects of the true start location. For instance, some of the newer leaders aren't available in this mod (like for Germany and UK), and I'd like to allow them. I'd also like to slightly adjust the start location of some civs for balance reasons. Lastly, would like to alter what city states can spawn and where. How to do all this? Is there a good guide you could point me to?
- If I alter the map size, does this break the map? Do map sizes need to be certain standardized sizes to conform to size options Firaxis gives us (small, standard, large, etc)?
- Resources. At first I'll make it with fixed in place resource spawns. Once I get more comfortable with modding, I would like to learn how to produce controlled-yet-randomized resource spawns as well. What I mean by this is, let's say I want wine to be able to spawn in just France and Italy in random locations. How to do this?
