How to Make a Cursor Smaller?

I finally have touch screen monitor for my computer. It's cool.

However the problem comes up when playing my game. The cursor is too big and when I touch my screen, the tip of the cursor actually touch above where I want to touch.

So I'm going to test this idea: make the cursor smaller so that when I touch something with my finger, the cursor actually touch it.

So can someone tell me how to mod the size of a cursor please?

The cursor is a .gif file, so just creating a new .gif might do it, but i guess no one has ever tested it.

Ouch, then I will have to wait on someone to do that for me if he/she feels like it.
I will definitely appreciate it.

And, where in BtS directory do I find this file to exchange for a new one in future?

I'm at a PC without civ currently, so i can't look at it, but it's IIRC in the res folder.
If not, you should find it linked in one of the XMLs, i think in Art\ArtDefines_misc.

The folder is Assets\res\cursors like:
c:\=Games\Civilization IV Complete\Civ4\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos\Assets\res\cursors\Pointer.ani

All mods have their own Assets folder, so one needs to replace the cursor in each.
One can find a ton of *.ani cursors over the internet. I attached two examples
