How to mod C3C?

Does anyone know a good tutorial on how to mod C3C (new units, resources, techs, ect.)? I don't want to override default rules, but make my own scenario. I can't find any useful tips, all help threads are mostly about vanilla CIV or PTW.

It is nearly identical to modding PTW. Most of the threads more or less apply (with the exception of using the Conquests directories)
