If your GPU does not support directx11, there may still be a way for you to play the game.

Here you can download a small tool, that emulates directx 11:
http://www.netvector.de/dxcpl-download-windows-7/

It is quite simple:
1. download the .exe and open it
2. click on "edit list"
3. click on "..." and browse to the folder with the .exe of Civ6. (for most of us it will be something like that: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Base\Binaries\Win64Steam )
4. double click on the civ6 .exe and click on the "add" button. finish with "OK".
5. apply the checkbox "force WARP" and finish with "OK".

I tested it and it worked!
Be informed, that this emulation utilizes some CPU performance!

I was doing it on this setup:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 810
RAM: 4 GB DDR3
GPU: Geforce 260 GTX

With this little trick I could get the game running (It didn't before!). Unfortunately I am running on the exact minimum requirements for RAM and CPU. So this emulating is a little bit too much for my setup. I CAN play the game, but it is horribly slow even with strategic view.

Maybe this tip is helpful for some of you.
