Hi everyone. I just bought a copy of civ 5 and want to play during holidays. Problem:
I have bought a second hand pc and new graphics card to play smoothly with max settings. However, I'm afraid that I transferred a Trojan on it via usb pendrive. I have a laptop which I use for the internet and regularly download security patches. My new machine has been long offline and I'm afraid viri will be downloaded as soon as I connect it to the internet. So I want to know is there any way I can install and play my civ on it. Can I use my laptop just to do steam registration and then install the game and play on PC. Thanks.

I don't think you can authenticate the game on one computer and then play it on another. You really need to clean the malware off your PC. If needed, our Computer Talk forum can provide help on how to do so.
