As Well As I Remember There Is No Way You Can Prevent Automated Workers From Transforming.
May be i don t find the command or option to prevent that.
if not, please Firaxis, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE TO IMPLEMENT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !!!!

or may be.... Does the city auto work citizen influence the automated worker ? it could be the solution but i don t find anything about it.
