How to raise or lower amount in trade deal?

If I want to trade gold, for example, I can press A and it sets an amount of gold I cannot increase or decrease. Any way to do this?

There are a couple ways to increase gold when trading. If the trade window is open then you can keep pressing the A button and it will increment by 1 each time. The second is to select the gold from within a trade offer and use the Left Stick to increase (move to the right) or decrease (move to the left) the gold values.
