Hey I have a great game of CivIII I am playing of my friend's mod (which is sadly still got some civlopedia bugs that crash that game) I have been playing this game for days and it is getting awesome but I got a Pediaicons error that is crashing the game...

I should be able to repair this, but is there any way to load my fix into my saved game so that I can continue to play it :O ? The error is very vague (Missing entry in Pediaicons.txt for ANIMNAME_ [so I kind of just need to find whatever is looking for ANIMNAME_ because of course that shouldn't be a title entry anyway ]) so I don't think I can recreate it unless I can load my recent game with my attempted fix in it :(

Yah I can reload the auto saves but it will just crash again. I could change every aspect of the scenario if I wanted to but then when I load the game it won't have changed. I have to start a new game if I want to fix any bugs in the scenario :O

Only way I see is to fix the error(s) in the text file. Hard to say what particular entry may have caused it. A spelling mistake, a space after an entry's name. Steph's Editor might still be helpful. Load the original scenario mod file with it and see if there are any errors shown anywhere.

Missing entry wit ANIMNAME is a constant error that will appear everytime you'll try to use the faulty unit.

With my editor, you'll get all units with possible problems in red, and if you select it with my civpedia and icon windows open, it will tell you where is the error.

If you can correct the entry in pediaicons.txt, you can continue with your game without restarting it.

If the error is in the biq, you can't. But I can :D
