Here's the deal....

My brother set up a game to play using the Internet lobby, but it was only meant for the two of us to be able to play. Somehow, however, other players have been able to sneak in and join the game when we're either in the Staging Room or even during play.

How can we stop this?

For more details, see my post in this thread.

Thanks for the help,
Poocho :)

not select take over AI.

Poocho,

You could password the game.

If only you two want to play, agree to a password beforehand, and create the game like that. Now nobody can join unless they guess the password.

Really? I thought you couldn't do either of those things after starting the game. You've both got great ideas, but we haven't been able to change the MP settings or add a password since starting and beginning to play the game.

My next question is, therefore, how do we un-select the "Take over AI" setting and/or add a password for the game/player civs?

Thanks for the prompt reply,
Poocho :)

playing using the direct ip option is also possible. Password is available on the same place you chose game name. Take over ai is under multiplayer options i belive.
