How to use the Mods? Crashes all the time...

I have downloaded many mods, I have to manually extract them with 7-zip and put them in the mod folder so that thay appear on the Mod menu in the game, I enable them but only the rule changing mods works, when I try to load a game like WW2 witch I would love to play, the game crash...Anybody has an answer to this?

Wrong forum but its probably easily answered. Make sure the mods you have enabled are compatible - activating multiple rule changing mods is a pretty sure fire way to crash the game.

Indeed. Also make sure the mods are compatible with the latest version of the game.

Plus, downloading and then extracting and then putting them in the proper folder should be a last resort. It is much better to download the mods from the Mods Browser window of the game: Main Menu -> Mods -> Online -> (select mods) -> Download -> Install -> Enable. Then go back one step (you'll still be in Mods), select Single Player; then you can set up your game & play it. If you have to exit to the Main Menu then you have to go to Mods to reload your game, else it crashes instantly.
