How well will this graphics card run Civ V?

I've bought an AMD Radeon HD 5550 1gb ddr2 graphics card to replace my old Nvidia Geforce 8400gs. With the 8400gs I'd get a decent frame-rate on the lowest settings in Civilization V, and on Civ IV; I'd get a great frame-rate on the maximum settings. Will the 5550 be much better? How well can Civ V run, and on what settings?

The 8400GS is roughly on par with a high-end card from eleven years ago, the 5550 is basically on par with a high-end card from seven years ago. I wouldn't expect either of them to run Civ5 well.

Thankfully, civ5 isn't a very good game, you're better off just playing civ4.
