How would u all rate the game?

Well I absolutely love it so far. the only thing I would love to have is unit trading, but other than that it's just what I expected! Very very addictive.

Have to say that I love it. It really 'feels' like a fully complete game. Shame it takes two expansions to get there, but I don't mind paying the extra freight if what in the end I get is of very high quality. Haven't played any of the Conquests yet; not sure if I will, as I am more of the epic campaign type, but I may give 'em a shot.

I think I can safely say after finding myself concentrating on how to become Shogun of Japan while eating dinner over my keyboard, that I think I'm obsessed. :) It's awesome.

Sure there are some things you could dig up and complain about but look at the game. You have so much freedom in choosing how you want to play now. Tons of additions and new features.

BTW, before you know the game (play it for a few weeks or months), you will still have things to discover and even after that, there are plenty of new things.

Play and enjoy. It's a game.

I also give it

Yeah, well I give it

A great game, the new civs are cool, so are the new resources and scenarios!

10/10 for an expansion!

A+

Wow, I cant wait having the game too :) I will have it this week I think :) So no unit trading again? Thats TOO BAD. Well...

Thanks for ur answers!

Give them a try, is my advice. I was an 'epic campaign' type of player too, and have been ever since Civ1, but that was before I was 'forced' ;) to try out the scenarios during the betatest. Now I'm a happy 'swing both ways' type of player. A scenario is a totally different game, IMO, but contrary to what I thought before that's definitely not necessarily different in a bad way. :)

On topic, I haven't seen the finished game yet :( But from the tests, I know my score won't drop beneath and 'A'.

Isak,

Do the scenarios play the same way twice? Given that they are pre-defined or pre-scripted, I would expect a certain level of structure, but are there random elements thrown into the mix so that it is a unique experience each time? I'm all about the random factor, which for me makes this sort of game even more enjoyable.

I give it an 'A' (I'll add the '+' if they give us stack bombard, collateral damage with bombardment...and barricades without fortresses) ;)

Things I've said before:

--still no cheat menu. (this baffles me)

--no wonders videos. (bad mistake of Civ3 to remove these, Civ2 had great videos, and they were rewarding).

--the beginning video for conquests is terrible compaired to PTW. (I'd rather they just used the same video as PTW).

I'd give it a 7 out of 10 though. I love the game play and it keeps me interested and playing everyday. If it wasn't for the cheat program "Powerbar" though, i'd have returned Civ3 and never even known about PTW or Conquests. Thanks to Spiderzord who has made Powerbar what it is today. I can only hope he updates powerbar to work with conquests.
