It seems the Epic store took the release of Civ7 as an opportunity to promote Humankind.
Right now you can get the Humankind base game for free, until February 13.

Hope it's okay that I updated the date in the article from "13.02" to "February 13th". Date formats across international boundaries are fun, and when I first saw that I thought I had until 1:02 PM (13:02 in 24-hour time) to claim it on Epic. Although now I know that date components are separated by dots in the Netherlands, whereas before I'd mainly been familiar with slashes and hyphens separating date components (I have seen the dot format on this side of the pond, but mainly in historical documents).

I went to get this free game and to do so I had to create a User Profile. After 20 failed tries to create a unique username I gave up. Turns out I don't need this game, I never needed it before now, I shall never need this game.

All the games i have on my epic account where free,including civ 6. humankind is just another game ill never play.
