Hyperlinks in Civ3

I have 2 questions guys.
1. I recieved an error in the middle of a game that has me confused. While playing civ3 I recieved the error:
Maximum hypertext links exceded.
What does that mean?? I had Nothing but xp and civ3 running.
I wasnt connected to the net.

2. AFTER I recieved this message I decided to find out why. I closed saved my game and exited the game. FRom the desktop I opened my connection to the net and started IE. Got an empty box NOTHING else.
hm. I do the 3 finger salute and the program manager has a copy of civ3 RUNNING( I know I shut it down-but here it was -another copy?- running.) I selected civ3 closed it via program manager and zip I'm looking at my home page.

Can anyone give me ANY idea why this is happening?

I dont think so. I was attacking a french city at the time my cavalry had just won and the error message poped up.
I like civ3 but sometimes. . .
Anyway, I havent had it pop up again.

i get the same problem but usually when i'm looking at the diplomacy screen...?!

maybe it's something to do with having IE open at the same time as civ3?
