I kinda of said the wrong thing the girl I liked when I found out that she has trust issues due to her ex-boyfriend being abusive and a liar, and you know, typical male.

Instead of fighting for her like I wish I had done, I told her something along the lines of "I just got out of a relationship like that, and the more I learn about you, the more I realize I don't want you anymore. You're a good friend, but I don't want anything more than that from you anymore, goodbye."
