I can't build Temple of Planet

Like the thread name says, I have the tech and all, but I can't build it, it doesn't even show up as an option. Does anyone else have this problem?

Can't say I've ever encountered this before. Might there be a facility you need as a prerequisite?

Yeah I used to have this and thought there was somthing wrong, now I havent play the game in a while, but If i remember correctly you have to build another facitly the um well oh yeah teh centuari dome thing I think, really sorry cant remmeber much...

You must build the basic ecology reserves to be able to build the most powerful ones.

If you have not applied the patch, then the game will not let you build the Temple of planer until the voice of planet secret project has been built.

I had the same problem and as LS said it is due to using the original unpatched terran.exe. Make sure you have the Patch 4 version which you can check when you are running SMAC.
