I don't understand (help)

This has happened 2 times to me in cotm 08.

I have cash (10gold). I have 0 gpt. The finance Advisor comes in and takes a Rax away from me and scolds me for not being watchful enough of my treasury. What am I missing?

I would have given the whole screen shot but I'm not out of the ancient age yet and don't want to spoiler anyone. (I don't think what I've shown is a spoiler anyhow. :fingerscrossedsmilie:

Selling off a baracks gives you 10gold and save you 1gpt in support.. so if you have 10gold and 0gpt after this event, then you had 0gold and -1gpt before it was sold off..

You were running your treaasury at a deficit and reached zero. You then lose improvements to pay your debts.
