I've just tried to split off some conquered territory into a colony. Next turn I automatically declare war on my allies!? Any ideas why this is happening? I've only recently purchased the game and haven't downloaded any upgrades or mods. As soon as I give the colony independence a message appears telling me I have declared on pretty much everyone!
