I DoWed him?

I'm playing Warlords 2.00, so I'm not sure if this a bug or intentional, but I'm on the world map, playing as Greece. I vassalized Hatty, and am at war with Asoka. Qin is my biggest rival, but also my biggest ally, if that makes sense. He has Mansa as a voluntary vassal. Suddenly, in 1400AD, I'm at war with Qin. I looked at the foreign advisor, and Qin has the "-5 You Declared on Us" penalty. I can't understand how this happened. I'm pretty sure that Mansa can't DoW me since he's a vassal, and Hatty couldn't (Why would she? She has such a tiny power rating it's funny). Asoka didn't vassalize himself, I'm sure of that.

What happened?

Save attached, two turns before the incident. I'm on Prince/Epic, if that makes a difference.

well, if you vassal an AI who is at war with another AI, the you inherant ur vassal's war, thus the reason why you are at war with qin.

or maybe you aciddently pressed "lets declare war" on qin by another AI when pressing the enter button or something.

it has happened to me a few times when i get impatient with the game.
