my compadres of the North had the game on the week-end after the D day!!!
I didn't get it and I only 50 Km from the capital...

Only today in a FNAC store near Lisbon I get it, so don't hate it your country, only hate your city!!!

NO, in my case: the main reason was:
Setubal wasn't in the C3C list cities of Portugal. they put Alcacer do Sal!!! It's like putting Hollywood instead S. Francisco...

Is it illegal to send purchased game software across country lines in the EU? I mean you can walk across the borders without passports but you can't order the game from Germany or UK? Ouch. Is that on the agenda for the next EU session?

I`m from Czech Republic (For Americans: This is that little point right in the middle on map of Europe, sharing boarders with Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Poland. Hey dont take this offencive... I have my experiences ) and we got it here for almost 3 weeks. Theyre maybe problems with located versions? I guess...

the Czechs got it before Belgium... Makes you wonder about the release plan of Firaxis !
And I'm not sure it's about located versions, since Belgium speak French and Dutch and the French version is out (not sure about the Dutch one though)! It's a bit like the UK getting it waaaayyyy after the US and most european country : it's plain weird.

No, its perfectly legal. play.com (no www.) is a good site for ordering games (and music/movies) as well. I ordered my copy of PTW from that site. I got it faster and cheaper than I would in any store here in Norway.

I live in the uk and man I did not receive my copy of Civ3C.It was due out on the 14 of November, but the shop keepers said that it was delayed by two weeks.
