I just got the game and....

why is it there are almost no scenarios out there for civ 3(i'm looking for a ww2 scenarios but cant find it) youd think there would be tons do people not like it or is there somthing wrong with the scenarios editor also why wasent multplayer included and why is the text all messed up and wont fit into the boxes half the time?

There's nothing wrong with the scenario editor ... except for the minor fact that there isn't one.

WTH!!! theres no scenarios editor oh brother thats sucks bad very VERY bad one of the reasons i wanted to get this game was to play scearios just like i did on civ like ww2, rome, actium why did they NOT make one that is stuped!! and to add insult to injury they dident include a single scenario with the game!!! who makes the kind of stuped desisions??

Well ok you're peeved that there is no scenario editor, but just a minute ....

You've been here since December 2001 (according to the forum) and you've just bought the game? That maybe true - but a quick check round this forum would have tipped you off that there's no scenerios as such. I can't find too much sympathy for someone who buys the game and moans about some feature that they assume was there but wasn't. Especially when it would have been real easy to verify before they spent their money!

Hey, go easy on the guy. If you checked his posts, you'd see that up until now he's been on the Civ2 boards, and discussing scenarios there. So it's quite reasonable that he's just now moved up to Civ3, and was expecting to find a scenario editor for Civ3 as well.

But I agree, a smart shopper would check before buying. The advertising could be misleading, though. Me personally, I generally check BBs before I buy any game. So there's a lesson there as well.

They will probably make a scenario editor in a future expansion pack. Play the game as it is to learn how it works. (Pay special attention to culture, as many players have trouble with that.) Experiment in the editor. Then when the scenario editor comes out, you will have the background you need.

yes it wasent even a question in my mind that they would have a fully featured scenarios editor or atleast some way(like through cheats) to do scenarios i only bought it last week.

I heard the expansion pack is coming this spring from some website. The site could be very, very wrong though.
