I love this game

The people who hate something are typically much louder than the majority crowd, which I believe people who actually like CiV are the majority crowd. So I just decided to make this post so that the forum isn't a wall of hate.

I love this game and I'm enjoying it very much. I haven't been this hooked on a game in a long time. No problems here ! (And I have been playing since Civ II so I'm not new to this, I hated Revolution)

I'm loving it too--especially in relation to the actual game play itself. Everything else I don't like has more to with what I'm use to from the past, but that will change, I suspect, as it has with every new version. (I took started out at Civ II).

I am also loving it. Sure there's a few bugs and annoying things, but patches will iron those out.

I think it's great and as you say, the people who don't like something always yell the loudest. The "vocal minority" always needs to make sure they're heard while the silent majority doesn't feel the need to speak up too much.

There are differences, and I'm glad there are. I didn't wait 5 years for Civ V to just be Civ IV with a few minor changes. I love that every game in the Civ series truly provides a unique experience within the same classic framework throughout the years. If it had all the same exact stuff as Civ IV with the addition of hexes and 1UPT, there would be a ton of people on here yelling about how it's way too similar to Civ IV. You can never satisfy everyone.

And I would also wager that one of the things people seem to be complaining about in this game (Diplomacy) will be the main focus of one of the expansion packs. Would not surprise me at all.
