I need help assembling a team for my fantasy scenario

This looks like it could easily be made by one person, at least so far. Do you plan on adding much more? I notice a lot of it is from Firaxis and the tech trees are short and simple.

I figured you were going to add a lot more. In many ways, making the tech tree is the hardest part. For me, it's actually harder than adding units, buildings, and even the techs themselves.

how do i add custom units? And how to make them? Because one of the units i planned requires the Japanese gunmen but i cant find their files, it doesn't help i want to add more units from civfantic (polish musketeer) but i dont know how to do it. It doesn't help that imgur stop existing

If you are mostly using Firaxis units, the Nipponese Infantry would make a good replacement. PRTO_Nipponese_Infantry
