I Need Help!

I am having great difficulties with these scenarios and I dont know what I am doing wrong. I have vanilla Civ 3 with the v29 patch, and none of the scenarios I download wont work. I keep getting "cannot open scenario, file may be corrupt". It has happen with every scenario that I have downloaded. Yes, I made sure they were scenarios for Vanilla Civ 3. Some have suggested that I put a thread in the particular scenario, but would have to put many threads for what I think is the same one problem. My computer is brand new with gobs of ram, using windows XP OS. Help Please!!!!!

Something like this, it's best to ask in the thread you d/l'd the mod from. Yes, you might put many threads there, but that's the place to start.

Check there, and if it doesn't work, come back here and post about it.
