That some people were talking about Alt+XXX numbers...

What is the hidden code for dos?

I'm sure it was something like Alt+5432 But tried many similar to no avail...

(If you have no idea what I'm on (about) then don't worry, just some stupid Ascii code that is the best and easiest way to hide stuff, Also protect stuff because if a file doesn't exist you can't delete it!)

Hem, first of all, ALTXXX is a "special" website I think. Just guess what it's about ;) Perhaps it's xxx.alt.org or something like that. Don't know exactly, I have never been there (yes you can believe me, I just read that somewhere... :))

Back to your problem: XXX is generally an ASCII code, and XXXX is surely an unicode. If you're looking for a specific thing, I think the best is to use google. Oh, and btw, I guess you're surely talkoing about the "invisible" characther, which is 255. It looks like a space but it's not a space. Did I have the right guess?

Yah, I thought it was that end code but I've tried it and it's not the one.... Though you are on the right track... I was just talking Alt (as in the key alt) and XXX - as a following integer!)

Hmmm, just been trying it for a couple of minutes to no avail... yah, must be a uni then... might just be the restrictions on the work computers... thought that wouldn't be a problem but maybe it is... blah...

No fun!

Thanks GK. Have a good day.
