I was thinking what if civ3 was like real life would my girl friend like spices as
gift. I was thinking why not make platnium, gold, and sliver a luxary resource. Platnium is rare and most vauable and should be worth three happy guys and this resource should only have one location. Gold should be worth two happy folks. Sliver worth one. Then i thought why not make metal a stratgey resource. I t could speed up armored units and ships by 3. It will give your nice military a boost.

This is something that you're certainly free to add in the editor. Of course, it does make a certain amount of sense. DyP uses gold as a strategic resource, and silver as a bonus resource. I'm sure other scenarios use it too.

Metal = iron, but with a few extra elements to give it the special caracteristics of metal

there's also aluminum, also, if you do mod it, you may have to take another esource out beacause the city screen (trade advisor?) only have s much space, plus don't forget what to do with the marketplace
