I wonder if the Warlord xp will have wonders that produce units, much like Conquests did. Considering the war focus, maybe this is the case. Allthough, considering the impact of support costs in CivIV, maybe this wont happen. Anyway, it would be interesting if they made a couple of early militrasitc wonders. An early reduction in WW would be cool.

An early reduction in WW would be useless as there is no WW until you hit education (normally).

To be honest, I hope that there are some non militaristic wonders to balance the game and give builders a chance to win.

Personally i hope that at least one wonder is about sea warfare.
In CIV3 you had magellan's voyage, now there is nothing similar.
Another point that personally I think could be added is a wonder that makes population reproduction faster.

Drydocks.

Granaries.

Circum navigation of the world does exactly the same thing.

What i mean are wonders which have advantages only for your civ.
About naval warfare i must disagree that drydocks are sufficient, there is so much work to do in naval warfare, about population reproduction it could be an interesting weapon if pumped up

Circumnavigation gives the same power as the erstwhile Magellan's voyage in ALL respects so it pays to navigate...A navy combining this with a lot of drydocks is a formidable force indeed. Add theocracy and/or vassalage, and u get one kickass navy.

I think granaries, aqueduct, biology and the 'health' resources are adequate, if used properly to give a good boost.

those new traits were unexpected. Maybe they will be as innovative on the new wonders as well.

However, the unit producing wonders in Conquests were fun and seemed balanced to me...

How about a Shipyard-like wonder for popping out a navy vessel and an Armory-like wonder that gives a Seige weapon.

(although those crusaders u got from the Knights Templar in Conquests were sure a nice graphic/Unit. Note that both C3C unit producing wonders expired and came early in the game. At any rate maybe a specific Wonder that produces a non game breaking unit- that comes early- is the best way to go-

"Illryian Shipyard" - produces one Pirate Galley every whenever

"Archimedes Loft" - produces one amped up Catapult-like siege unit every ....

I'm hitting WW long before education if I try and kill more than 1 civ with an early army. It's especially noticable since at the beginning happiness is so tight that I push my cities right up to the limit a lot of times.
