Though not all of the people we want there have already agreed to ascend to Jerusalem for the peace negotiations, enough of the key participants have expressed there agreement, therefore we declare the negotiations started.
We believe that now is the time for the initial proposals to be announced. We were expecting one from the Caliph, but as it is yet to come we will announce our own peace plan now. Note that is, ofcourse, entirely open to negotiation and compromise.
We are of the opinion that this present war and the events immediately preceding it have proven that the Islamic Umma' is an unviable state. Therefore, we believe that it should be dismantled, like any unviable state, to the benefit of the rest of the world and in such a manner as to minimize future strife in its former territories.
The African lands of the Umma' have no connection with Arabia itself, and can be divided into three portions: Egypt, with geographical and commercial ties to Israel and of strategic importance for Israel, that thus become an Israeli protectorate; the rest of North Africa, with geographical, commercial and historical ties to the Italic Federation, that will thus become an Italic protectorate; and finally, Subsaharan Africa, that will become a part of the African Union - I believe there is no need for an explanation here.
Islands offshore Africa will be divided accordingly (i.e. the ones west of North Africa will go to IF, the rest will go to AU).
In the Middle East, the successor state to the Islamic Umma' will be the Caliphate, led by the present Caliph. It will control all of Arabia and Iraq. In recognition of the succesful separatist rebellion therein, Turkey will become an independent state; so will Kurdistan. A Persian-Shiite state will be created as well (though here in particular we believe that possibly a referendum could be held). Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, for the same reasons as Egypt, will become Israeli protectorates. The Slavic Federation will get Trabzond, Western Armenia and Central Asia - again, due to geographic, commercial, cultural and historic ties.
Precise borders will be hammered out later on, though there is a provisional map attached here.
There shall be no reparations.
There will be no discrimination against the former citizens of the Umma', and for the first year after this treaty they will be free to immigrate to any country of their choice if they so please. Furthermore, the Caliphate will be recognized as the protector of all Muslim populations abroad as well as inside, and will thus be allowed to have a voice in their issues, in recognition of the Caliph's position as the spiritual leader of Islam.
