Rather simple question, are icons for Civ V available anywhere yet? Things like the new icons for :strength: combat, :move: movement, :food: yields, etc... would be very helpful if someone knows a source! I'd like to include proper icons in my mods' readme files, and preferably without duplicating effort of someone else if extracting these from the game has already been done. :)

Well, I can't seem to find any so I created some. I hope these can be useful. Some things like ranged combat strength don't have an equivalent Civ IV icon at all.

    Edit: new ones further down

(attached separately due to limit of 10)

All these are also sized to a height of 18, the height of current CivFanatics icons.

    Edit: new ones further down

Eternally a perfectionist so I fixed some clipping issues, lightened the borders, and exported some additional icons.

Thanks! I've added them as post icons, and will add some as smilies as well.

Edit: Done. I put "c5" prefixes on the bbcode so that we didn't over-write the old Civ4 / other smilies.

    Thanks ainwood!

Same thing I was thinking re. Civ 5 prefix, left that up to ya since I don't know how the forum's tag system might be structured internally. I updated the earlier ones now to avoid confusion. :)

If you mean "are those three necessary," while they are similar to existing icons, it does make mod descriptions a little more visually consistent. For example, the "wonders" list of this post looks better with artwork that matches the other images and ingame art.

I just don't think we need a new :) , :( and  one since we already have them in the forum code and it is obvious what you mean by them, The others are fine, since the symbols are different enough for the need for them to indicate Civ5, but these 3 are useless in my opinion since we already have viable alternatives for them. :c5happy: , :c5unhappy: and :c5angry:

The space taken by those almost pointless icons is pretty big now... a pita on small screens...
