I hope I got that right...not studied latin for 5 years now. I feel old...

So, we should be settling our next city in 2 turns, barb willing.

It has an irrigated wheat, some jungle, few forests, a fair amount of hills and is coastal. Nohing spectacular, but far from shabby considering our wonder plans.

    Codename: Eastern city
    Settled: Turn 99
    Intention: hybrid production/commerce city, capable of 30 hammers/turn w/forge at size 11, or 35 commerce/turn at size 9.

I went for sunburst, but could also go for banana fritter. :)

nomina instead of nominiamo? (I don't know exactly what you're trying to say)

It's the imperative form; it's an order, not a request, damnit!

Nomina is just the third person singular. The imperative form of the verb is used when an order is given, ie "Name that city!".

As I said, the title is phrased as an order, not a request, so the imperative is justified.

I picked Sunburst. But I hate both the names ;)

As I have no better idea, I'll just sit here and throw rocks. And vote for the one I hate less ;)

I know that, but the verb is Nomino, so the imperative is nomina

That's second person singular; I'm not speaking to just you though, am I? ;) At least, not in the thread title...

Nominiamo is the 1st person plural (I'm not giving up my voting rights!)

I could settle for second person plural (nominate).
Also, wiki hasn't got the -iamo listed
