Immortal Huge 18 Civilizations

DeGaulle, with Stone, Isolated - an ideal game! Its won already.

With a start like this I would be very disappointed if you lost ANY wonders, but a loss of 3 or 4 is probably to be expected. Get the rest though.

Fishing, Mining, BronzeWorking, Mysticsm, Masonry, then chase wonder techs. Get at least one worker and one settler out before you hit Masonry, after you hit Masonry your capitol should build nothing but Wonders and enabling buildings (forge, lib, aquaduct). Second city spams settlers and workers.

Perhaps BronzeWorking after Masonry depending on Micro. Then you could build your workers in your second city, and only workboats/warriors/settler in your first city (before wonders).

GLH is not as good isolated, Henge/Wall/Pyramids more important.

Simply put, I think cottages were a real bad idea for this game. IMO I would be in a better position if I just spammed farms and ran a bunch of specialists. Nonetheless, I don't think I'm going to finish this game, but I may do an Immortal/Huge/18 Civs in the near future.

Would have been interesting to see if you could have caught up after you met a few more civs, but you certainly looked to be in a pretty bad spot.

I'd be interesting in reading along if you do another game in the future though.
