IMO on Gods & Kings

Well when i got this ordered from Amazon and havent played it til last week and try it one more time, i lost interest playing the game. First of all i wanted to play the world that have fixed faction's location. And there still nothing to download off of Steam.

So i been playing and it seem Civ IV Colonization more fun at the moment and i think Civ IV is better.

If you want to fix the factions locations, you can load the map in the worldbuilder and plop the civs where you want them.

There are two outstanding mods which can be downloaded from the Steam workshop (free) which give you Earth maps with historic starting locations for each civ in the game:

-Yet (not) Another Earth Maps Pack which I prefer due to the customizations options available, and
-Legendary Earth Mod which gives you two scenarios to choose from, each with different civs.

You do need the other DLC civs to get the full effect of those mods, but even with "just" G&K they'll work well enough.
