There are tags for civilipedia entries about improvements,

<Civilopedia>TXT_KEY_IMPROVEMENT_MINE_PEDIA</Civilopedia>

but these entries are no where in any text and do not appear in the game.

Is there a mod component or method for putting in background text on imps?


And, as long as I'm at it, a totally different topic. Promotions. How come all promotions for a given UnitCombat are not available to that UnitCombat, even if there are no prerequisites? In my mod I added some promotions but they were never visible until I moved the blocks about those promotions up over Combat 1, with no other changes, and now they displace it, with Combat 1 being available as a second promotion. What's the rule on this? There's not a number limit, and its not even location in the file, since promotions lower down were available.

Like upgrades. If a unit upgrades to one other unit, and that unit becomes available, then the first unit is no longer available, but if the unit upgrades to two other units, and only one of them is available, the unit will remain available. Is there a similar rule for Promotions?

so that there is someplace for background text regarding Improvements?

I don't recall anything like this, but the interface is all handled through python iirc.

Yeah, and its in the file Inamed above. I have tried changing it by copying from the one for Buildings, but could not make it work. I guess I'll just keep trying or give up and accept it. If I figure it out, I'll share.
