The CFC account has followed this guy on Twitter for a while, I saw the article too, wanted to make a thread, but you beat me to it .
From the description, I have in general more the feeling that it's similar to Colonization, although not sure how big the part of colonizing the new world is. But production lines and social classes definitely have more of this feeling.
Also great to see that there is a free demo, had not noticed this before.

I've played some of it, and it's more of a Imperialism rival, than a Civ or Col rival. In fact the developer openly admits Imperialism II was the initial influence.

Indeed. In some games the pixel art adds to the enjoyment, especially if the player grew up with that kind of art style. I'm going to try the demo myself.

Funnily enough we actually already had another thread made by me but it hadn't been updated in a while (I was just about to haha).. I originally it put in the Colonization area as he's been posting in the Col groups about it for a few years now.
