With British forces closing in on the KNE's stronghold in Wales, the political descendants of President Omega are determined to seal the fate of the Emerald Isles on this battlefield. The KNE First Company, comprising the army's most seasoned veterans, prepares to meet the British two-pronged advance. If they can stay the enemy attack, they may at least scrounge a cease-fire. If they lose here, then the death of the Kingdom of New England seems assured.

To that end, KNE commanders have undertaking a gambit of ludicrous proportions. Repackaging their final nuclear warhead into a portable rocket, they will attempt to sneak it across the battlefield to a launch site at grid reference Ec53. It is a suicide move: the atmospheric detonation they aim for combined with the existing unstable climate will almost surely destroy what remains of mainland Britain. But the political message is clear: if Britain does not relent, then whatever they win this battle they shall not keep.

The KNE is betting on the garrisons of two forward bases to hold the advancing army off long enough for the company to reach the front lines. British primary objective is to secure the launcher, not destroy it, lest the material become unstable.

Results for Battle #19: Britain v. KNE:
British victory

Not entirely flawless, put pretty damn close. Although British ground forces were significantly outgunned by KNE First Company, superior strategy facilitated an unrelenting assault. The Brits quickly secured KNE forward bases before driving on to the main defence line. After disabling enemy anti-air support, attack helicopters were called in to assist the infantry and spot the missile launcher while airborne squadrons were deployed to the rear of KNE positions. With armoured support burning, the demoralized defenders scattered, leaving the fate of Wales in the hands of the English.
