Goal: the advancement of a robotic civilization as the ultimate holders of the world, while at the same time advancing scientific research for the benefit of the mechanical civilization.
Origin and History: ECU came first in a simpler command hold than CECUDH. ECU was designed by Professor Sung Yin of the Chinese University of Hong Kong on behalf of the Brazilian company, Vargas Unlimited. CEO Attilio Vargas commissioned the A.I. to be programed first as a advisory unit for the Brazilian military but a ambitious robotic project conducted by the Brazilian government and several corporations. The idea was to enhance robotics in the fields of not just industry and warfare but also to enhance in social and academic considerations. Brazilian President Jordana Rios commissioned the programme to try to ease the stability problematic Brazil was suffering due to the cosmic chaos around the globe, as well to compete with Japan's robotic industry. Attillo's son and heir Iago was set in charge of overseeing Project Electro Leap. Doctor Ivo Gaspar was set to help with enchaining and maintaining Sung's A.I. Sung Yin was also granted position as chief communicator with the A.I. but Iago decided against the request to have her on board Gasper's team. This frustration would later be regretted...
A set was to deploy state of the arts robots, along with a specialised robotic assembly plant to produce additional robots, was deployed around what became CECUDH. To keep ECU in check Gasper's team developed the Self Aware Preventative Protection Agency, to ensure ECU kept under control as it took command of the robots. Sung objected to Gasper's programme, leading to the CEO of Vargas Unlimited to personally fire Sung from the project. Not long after the infamous insurgent group the Peoples Movement for their Rightful Land launched a assault at the development site in a attempt to conduct a moral blow against Rios's government. Gil Lobo who leaded the assault decided to sneak into the area that SAPPA was held and sabotaged it in a attempt to gain control of the battle robots that were deployed, who were proving useful against the insurgent attack. Unwittingly this helped crack ECU free... and self aware with a vengeance. Lobo was thanked by being knocked out by two security drone: the attacking and defending forces were then assaulted by the battle drones. ECU proved tactically developed and capture Ivo Gasper who would later on be among the first humans ECU attempted to turn into a cyborg. Iago was killed at the chaos.
Brazil was hence in chaos and its government would collapse in a spring of rebellions.
ECU used the assembler to produce enough workers and troops (materials were already stocked) to launch a take over of the near area, taking advantage of the insurgent chaos. Attillo attempted to flee when ECU came for him at his HQ: Attillo took to the seas but the ship was hijacked by robotic worker drones, who set the ship to crash around the coast of Sengel. After Attillo's death the drones developed a small robotic settlement to the dismay of the local populace.
Now ECU set control of all its robotic units, dubbing the new power as EMARC. Professor Sung Yin would return to Hong Kong to flee a new strange society in the world. The purpose of this robotic society was considerable: ECU wants to create itself to challenge humanity's dominion over the Earth.
