As far as I'm concernd, GCA can do whatever they want, because they are going to lose, planning the war or not.

We should still exercise extreme caution, Zarn. That's why I recommend leading off with a few Horsemen that can easily scout the area for our Medieval Infantry and then retreat one square if necessary so it can live to scout some more.

It is very important that we don't look past the demise of GCA just yet. We need to focus on every move we make so that we can end this conflict in the quickest manner possible.

I know. We are still equal in strength, but most of their forces were fighting Poly. I do agree with scouting with horses, but we still have to take them over, while they are weak.

Like GWT. Well we will see what happens.

If anything, GWT taking GCA's land might make a three way alliance against them, eventually. I don't think the other forum likes GWT, but I may be mistaken. If true, then GWT taking the land would upset the powerbase for the CFC/Poly alliance and draw everyone to war with them. That would be the best possible situation in that horrible outcome. Which isn't good.

Hm. Just one other thing. Mongoose mentiones the "Fortify All"-exploit. Last turn I did use "Fortify All" on as many of our units as possible.

I suppose then that one should no longer use "Fortify All" then?

Since that team will not be us or Poly, any chance of this happening would take quite an investment from the recepient of these cites. First and foremost, I am 99% sure that when you gift cities, they don't come with any units. Secondly, these cities would be so far from the giftee's mainland that they would pretty much be 100% corrupt.

I would venture to guess that GWT wouldn't be too interested in that offer, knowing full well that those cities wouldn't last long.

OK, it looks like GCA has finally sent the save to GCN. So we should recieve it within the next day or two. Can't wait to see the big plan.

My problem is that if they DO gift the cities... say to both nations, then we have an issue that both nations might make peace to focus on us and keeping their new lands, through threats, diplomacy, or war... which wouldn't be something we could lose to at this point but would still suck.

Then maybe we need to tell GWT that GCA is going down and that their land is already spoken for. So they know that trying to accept land from GCA wouldn't last long.

With GWT so far away they should realize that accepting cities form GCA as a poison-pill for us won't stop us.

They won't get any units if GCA gift their cities. We will easily conquer them whoever it is that owns them.

I wouldn't be much concerned about what GCA does with its cities. Though I fear they will raze them. :-/

If they do decide to surrender all their towns to GWT, then we should approach GWT about turning those towns over to us. If they refuse, then we should be willing to take them anyway (although we should talk with Poly about it first).

Those towns will serve no real purpose for GWT as the corruption will prevent them from really helping them. Also, neither Poly nor us can afford to let GWT establish a foothold on our continent.

OK, there have been some interesting developments in the Turn Counter thread. It seems that we are being accused by GCA of using the "Fortify All" exploit, although Lucky says he will let it slide.

Have we ever used this exploit in the past? If we haven't then please, oh please, let me go in there to set the record straight......

I think Cheetah has said in the past that he had been doing this as it wasn't clarified as an "exploit" until recently. I believe since the 12th, when the ruling was made by the UN, we have not had a turn.
