In for the Long Haul: a Marathon GNK Game! Diplomacy Thread [Game Full]

There is an experiment in player endurance going on GMR: it's this game: a Large Map, Marathon game

Since things will go very slowly gameplay-wise, it seems a good idea to open this thread where the players can do some diplomacy and RP if they want, and everyone else can follow what's happening if they are interested.

As of now, after some initial hiccups with a GMR bug, we're in the middle of turn 2. So, really, nothing much has happened yet
