In-game updater needs to be improved

I am frustrated when I try to download patches...like the new 1.52 patch and the game updater keeps stalling out. It will not resume and there is no way to save a partially-loaded patch so I have to start over and over and over.

So this is something that could be improved in the next patch. One hopes.

I'm having this kind of problem too. Most of the time it refuses to start installing. When it does, it fails inexplicably before it reaches half way. I'm getting rapidly tired of trying tbh.

Edit: noticed it's up on the servers now, so I'll just try downloading it.

I smell irony in the near future if this is going to be fixed.

For now, try finding an alternative server (from websites) and download it from there.

Same thing on the websites. I have a clunky DSL connection that is lucky to get 20kb/sec d/l speeds. It's not much better than dial up, just so I don't tie up the phone line. Can't get cable here....sigh.
