Persia, Han, Han, Han, Rome...
Okay, I arranged my plan more specifically.

1. Persia - Abbasid - Modern Islam Civ with Xerxes (KOK)
2. Han - Ming - Modern China Civ with Confucius
3. Han - Mongolia - Mughal with Mongolian leader (most likely Genghis Khan)
4. Han - Ming - Meiji Japan with Benjamin Franklin
5. Rome - Norman - Britain with Augustus

Persia so I can go wide. I'm completely undecided about what leader I'll pair them with, however.

I want to go Persia with KoK Xerxes, but I feel like having super charged commanders as my first experience will ruin all other commanders for me.

Egypt or Mississippians most likely for a semi peaceful grow huge cities type game.

I’m a Rome player, so I’ll start with them, and then play with Rome for the next ten games, and then maybe try a game with Rome, and then move on to Rome, but then go back to playing as Rome for a few games.
That's not how I'd want to play, but I do have to admire that kind of commitment. :D

The Missisipians are probably the most exciting addition out there in my opinion, so I might just go with them, followed by Aksum and Greece. Though at some point it's likely I'll switch to make choices based on leaders, more than civs, starting with Augustus (and I guess Rome-Spain-France?).

Traditionally, I play Rome in my first playthrough. But playing a Chinese civilization might be cool, as it seems we'll get Chinese civs in every era, so I might shake things up this time.

Very fond of Persia, but given that I live in an area where the Mississippians had sites, I'll be tempted by them. Will probably go with Persia or Greece, though.

I think I’m most interested in Greece or Khmer for my first game.
