Increase City Limit?

This came up when I was looking at the City Limits mod; is it possible to increase a cities limits? Or is it hard coded or something? I've been playing for months not thinking that you can't "use" resources outside of the 3-way tile and didn't know until just 10 minutes ago.

It would probably make the game easier, yeah, but I like to let my cities have their space. Looks nice on the map when you have 1 city with a area that dwarfs a civilizations 3 others cities, haha.

IIRC this is hard coded, and can not be changed, there is also a similar thread here on the forum.....

Ah, apologies for making another one then. It's a shame it couldn't be modified though, I don't see why but then Civ5 always seems like the smallest things can push it over.

It's very hard-coded (in multiple places in the DLL) ... but watch this thread (especially post #220)
