Well at least you can tell them apart by their border color... oh wait
Indonesia looks great. I love the Kampung. Unique improvement on coastal tiles is just wonderful, adds more options on city building strategies.
I am not sure if the Jong should replace the Frigate. They don't look contemporary to me, but don't really care. It is nice though.
Simple, just look for the one overrun by barbarians. Congratulations, you've now discovered Norway!
I don't find their abilities to be that OP. Kampung is an unexpected but unique choice for a UI, though its name simply means village (which can be built on land or water).
They seem best suited for Religious or Domination victory.
Little confusing that this early on in the civ releases it is already easier to tell apart Greece from Greece then 2 totally different civs -_-
It would be interesting to put Indonesia vs Khmer on the TLS maps, while I observe everything as China
The UA isn't overly strong, but it adds versatility. The LUA is only useful if you have a religion, which many people don't bother with. The Jong is very good on Island Plates maps, but less so on Continents, and not useful on Pangaea. The Kampung is really good though, like the Outback Station. And It synergizes with the UA to make coastal and medium-sized island cities quite good.
I'm liking the gamelan music.
Can't wait for the Atomic-era version of it!
Not as bad as Sparta vs Macedon. I remember winning a TSL game as Rome by murdering Macedon's settler before it could found a city since it was so badly boxed in.
They both end where they meet England

This is why we need a full sized Europe or Mediterranean map. And the other continents too.
Yessssss the kampung looks so good! Finally! I've been waiting for a unique coastal Improvement.
She looks really great overall, although I must say I absolutely hate the colours. Praying both these and the Khmer's are placeholders.
I think they just need to make more earth maps. Why is there only standard size? I can see no reason other than laziness that it shouldn't be possible to have larger or smaller sized earth maps without mods.
For those worrying about the border colors and getting confused, may it be the Khmer/Sumeria or Indonesia/Norway, remember that it already happened that a civ had certain colors during the FL video, but these were changed before release (like Australia, whose colors were close to Arabia's)
What is the Civ ability referencing specifically, other than the fact Indonesia is an island country? Why are these specific districts getting adjacency bonus from coasts?
I think the entertainment complex giving an extra amenity is a reference to Wayang Kulit puppet theaters?
I don't think the Khmer colors are anywhere close to Sumeria. Khmer's dark yellow is not similar to Sumeria's faded orange. And Khmer's blue is darker than Sumeria's.
The Indonesian colors do look like Norway's though.
A bit disappointing that Gitarja didn't use those pointy ear ornament like Gajah Mada.
I want an elf waifu..
Also, where is Jakarta?? Stay as a City State??
The Indonesian city names I spotted: Mataram, Jambi, Majapahit (the capital), Badung, Bima, and Ternate. So far no Jakarta.
Separate names with a comma.
