The aim of this is to get together modern leaders and possible LH counterparts for Leoreth to put into the game.

These will be blank for a few days, as school is about to start and it will be hectic, but I just wanted to get this together. Any countries that I missed that do not have modern leaders?

    Inca

    Poland

    Congo

    Arabia

Italy (could have Mussolini as a newer leader for fascist Italy)

Tibet (unless there is a modern Dali Lama I just didn't recognize)

    Mongolia

    Mughals

    Khmer

    Siam?

    Japan (could have newer one)

    Netherlands

    Portugal

    Morocco

    Mali

    Chola

    Spain

    Greece

Italy can use Mussolini, Spain can use Franco, Japan can use Meiji.
    Greece/Byzantium should use Eleutherios Venizelos.
Chola does not need modern leaderhead (they aren't an indepedent country).
I don't know about the rest.

I think having Industrial Era leaders as the latest leader is fine for most civs. It's just that the ones who only have Medieval/Renaissance leaderheads at the latest (Poland, Inca, Congo, Arabia, Mongolia, Mughals, Greece, and Netherlands) look kinda odd in the modern era.

I agree, I think the most appropriate solutions would be:
    - Poland: Pilsudski, Walesa
    - Congo: preferably Lumumba, but I think there's a Mobutu?
    - Arabia: Ibn Saud
    - Mughals: Benazir Bhutto
    - Greece: Eleftherios Venizelos
    - Netherlands: Wilhelmina?

    No idea about the others.

When I say modern leaders, I mean Industrial to Modern, getting Modern leaders for everyone would be impossible. Also, I'll update the list when I have time, thanks for all the suggestions!

Do leaderheads that are nowhere in CivFanatics count? Because my ideas are:
    -Peru: Antonio José de Sucre.
-Arabia: Saladin does not look that different to any random Arab king.
    -Mongolia: The Bogd Khan.
    -Japan is fine with Meiji.
-Spain: If you want someone else than Franco, Juan Carlos could be a good choice.

You can float suggestions for any LH you think is best, but without something in the database to put in the game that is obviously of little practical use.

Civs that don't have Modern Leaders:
    China (Fascist)
    Germany (Non-Fascist)
    Holy Rome
    Italy (Mussolini doesn't exist in-game)
    Korea
    Vikings

Ancient Civs that probably don't need one:
    Maya (Should use Colombia's Leaders)
    Persia (Should use Iran's Leaders)
    Phoenicia
    Rome
    Aztecs (Should use Mexico's leaders)
    Babylonia
    Byzantium

    Is Mao a communist-only leader?

I think Germany and Italy are fine with Bismarck and Cavour respectively.

Industrial era India - Gandhi (with a state religion and any civic)

Modern era India - Nehru (with secularism and republic)
Vinayak Savarkar (with autocracy and state religion hinduism)

Mao will appear if China is Communist or Democratic but not if they are Fascist.

Maybe for modern China we could have Mao Zedong if communist and Chiang Kai-Shek if not?

Sun Yat-sen is probably a better choice for democratic China.

Probably, although I do like the dichotomy of having Mao Zedong or Chiang Kai-Shek.

Mao when communist, Kai-Shek* when fascist, Sun Yet-sen when democratic, that one emperor when monarchic, and we've got everything covered.

*Boy am I glad I read this post before submitting and caught auto-correct trying to make a fool out of me by substituting Shrek for me.

There are already 510 results for "Kai-Shrek" in Google! Although that's not much.
