Information available when game is finished

I have finished my first game. Other that I won by a population victory, I haven't been able to access any other information for my personal notes: map with new territory I have conquered or any other game status information I would like to have.

Is this by design? Or is there something wrong with my system or what I am doing. The victory screen pops up. Then, the program just ends. If I reload, same thing.
