Injured units inflict same damage as healed units?

Hi everyone,
I played the vanilla Civ5 for some time and now i bought the G&K expansion on steam.
I really like it so far but there is one thing i do not like. In the vanilla version you had units up to 10 hp, and when a unit was injured the damage they could cause was less.
Now you have 100hp, which is fine but injured units always inflict the same damage no matter how badly injured they are. For example a unit with 100 HP can deal 30 damage, the same unit with only 20HP left would deal 30 damage as well. It also results in funny animation where one unit beats 5 other untis
I really hate it like that it takes out a lot of military strategy. Is there any mod who can actually fix this?
Oh and please don't judge me on my english please

No I was playing as china, Germany and the aztecs, and it is the same. Do you guys don't have the problem? Maybe i have a bug.

If it isn't Japan then it is less although I agree the difference is barely noticeable. Damage-wise there is only about 10hp difference a unit at full strength and at ten can do. Unless it is ranged which is another reason to love archers.

You are right there is a very small difference but it is almost pointless, is there any way to modify it to have more difference?

No need anymore i found it out for myself. They changed the modifier from 50% to 33%, i will probably change it to 50% again. Thanks for your help guys. :)

Oh, how do you do that? Change the modifier that is.

What i did was, i went to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\assets\DLC\Expansion\Gameplay\XML" and I opened the GlobalDefines.XML with an Editor, there are two lines on called "WOUNDED_DAMAGE_MULTIPLIER" and the other called "TRAIT_WOUNDED_DAMAGE_MOD". In the vanilla game they have a value of 50, in the expansion they lowered it to 33. Change them to a higher value to have more difference but make sure the value of the second line is the same number but negative.
Maybe someone can make a mod, would be nice. :)

Do someone know if wounded reduction damage is relative to unit current hit point? or is always a fixed value? I don't care too much because the reduction is so low, but I always tend to leave units at the 90 ish value instead of fully heal them to save time, I would change my ide if a fully healed unit do more damage.
If what I can see in air power is representative, the it would be relative to the unit current hit point.

My impression is that damage reduction in air power is much larger (and much more along the lines of what I would expect and want) than in land power. Is this the case?

The less HP they have the less damage they make, there is a formular for HP they have and damage they make but i do not know it exactly. And i dont know how it is with air power.
