So when I turn the game on I get an;

"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert disk into drive G" error.

It has a Cancel/ Try Again/ Continue button. I press the continue button and that lets the intro cinematic play.

After the cinematic plays I get the same error again. I press the continue button.

But then I get a freeze on the Civ "Click to Continue" ESRB splash screen.

First couple of times I got this but then it let me through and I played without a problem for nearly 6 hours. Now its back again and I can't get it to let me play.

I have tried to check the Game Cache. This seems to get it running but this is an awful lot of work to do every time I want to launch the program.
I have checked to see if the folders are read only.
I have in fact deleted the cache.
I have assigned the .exe to run as admin.

Running Windows 10.

Nope that is not what the error is.
Nope I did not install with a disk.

I downloaded from Steam.
When I run the program it asks for a disk. When I hit continue it runs the opening intro, then asks for a disk again when the intro is done. I hit continue and it runs the program as usual.
So it knows that the disk isn't really needed otherwise I am guessing it wouldn't run the program.

Once into the program I shut off the intro screen which serves to make the two asking for disk windows to appear closer together however it is still asking for them.
