installing mods - help please

Hello.

I'd like to install the "promotion and trait" mod in the mod directory and not in the custom assets (dont want to use the mod features every time).

It doesn't work that way, but it does when I unzip the file in the custom assets folder.

I've tried clearing the cache, but it still doens't work : the mod loads but there seem to be no change at all. What could I do wrong ?

I have exactly the same problem. I suppose it's a bug.

That mod will by default unzip into a customassets directory. If you place it in a mod directory it needs to be called assets, not customassets.

Good suggestion, but I've already tried that

so themod is in MODS\promotion and trait v0.1\assets (and then \art and \xml)

still doesn't work though (

Actually I know what went wrong.
I cleard cache, tried to play, then I corrected the directory structure and tried to play.

Naturally, I needed to clean the cache once more. It works now

Will I have to clear the cache each and everytime I will switch mods or go to regualr game again ?
