OK, so I'm playing an emperor game on a highlands map and basically holding my own. Gengis, the big boy on the block, pops up and asks for war against Napoleon. Relationships with Gengis aren't good, so a few brownie points with him would be OK. Nappy is on the other side of the world, and I don't like him anyways, so, yes, declare war!
Immediately, a trade window pops up from Napoleon offering a cease fire and a decent tech trade. I've never seen the AI offer a cease fire trade so quickly. I didn't know that the AI could do that. Why can the AI make an offer, but I have to wait 10 turns (or whatever)? No fair! Well, OK, its just the way it is.
Anyway, I took the deal. I got a little + with Gengis, but it won't help much. He's got issues. Nappy hates me, but so what.
Still, the instant cease fire is something I've never seen before. That got my attention.
